Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding allocated to schools to support the learning of children from low income families. These are children who are known to be eligible for free school meals (FSM) or children who have been ‘looked after’. Funding is also accessible for Service families.
Staff and AAB members of Wybers Wood Academy have discussed the grant funding spending in relation to the specific needs of our pupils. The Head of Academy, Teresa Rouse, produces a report for the AAB to review and monitor the management and impact of Pupil Premium Funding.
The intended effect of this funding is to accelerate progress and raise attainment. Our Academy is committed to improving the achievement of all pupils and narrowing the gap between outcomes of different groups of children. We will continue to focus on effective use of the pupil premium and its impact.
You can read how we are utilising our Pupil Premium Grant on our Statutory Information page here.
