Delta CEO Recognised in King’s Honours for Impact on Education
We are incredibly proud to share that our CEO Paul Tarn has been awarded the honour of Knight Bachelor (Kt) in the King’s Birthday Honours List.
Sir Paul has worked tirelessly for more than 30 years to raise educational standards and lift the North from educational poverty. His commitment to education has changed the lives of tens of thousands of children and young adults in our communities.
Sir Paul shared the following statement:
“I’m humbled by the award and moved that my colleagues and fellow professionals want to recognise my contribution to our education system. I’d like to pay tribute to the work of my colleagues and the team at Delta Academies Trust that I have the privilege to lead.
The friends I have made through the work of The Education Exchange have reaffirmed my belief that education attracts special people and that those following our vocation change lives.”
